Meet the Doctors.

Michael Rontal, M.D.
Dr. Michael Rontal grew up in Detroit, Michigan and graduated Cooley High School
in 1958. He then attended the University of Michigan, completing medical school
in 1965. Dr. Michael Rontal has practiced Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) medicine (Otolaryngology)
since completing his residency at Washington University in St. Louis in 1970.
After residency Dr. Rontal entered the United States Army and was assigned to
William Beaumont Hospital, Fort Bliss, Texas. He spent 2 years there as the chief
of Otolaryngology, and he attained the rank of Major.

Eugene Rontal, M.D.
Dr. Eugene Rontal grew up in Detroit, graduating from Cooley
High School in 1960. After graduation he entered the University
of Michigan where received his M.D. degree in 1967. After a
year of internship and a year of general surgery training at
Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Dr. Rontal went to the University
of Minnesota for three years as an Ear, Nose, and Throat resident.

Jan Akervall, M.D., PH.D.
Dr. Akervall was born 1960 in Linkoping, Sweden. After completing
his military service he studied Theoretical Physics at Chalmers
Technical University, Gothenburg, Sweden before going into
medicine.

Daniel Rontal, M.D.
Daniel Rontal was born and raised in Detroit. He graduated
from Andover High School in Bloomfield Hills in 1991. Afterwards,
he attended the University of Michigan where he completed a
course of study in Cellular and Molecular Biology. During his
college career, Dr. Rontal worked in several laboratories and
published work on brain anatomy while working at the University
of Koln in Cologne, Germany.
